Another fantastic Christmas book from Sarah Morgan. She has this amazing ability to bring the complex family ties to life. The good, the bad and the uncomfortable. You can't help but be captivated by Sarah's beautiful writing style and her ability to bring Christmas to life.

One More For Christmas follows the relationship between a mother and her daughters.

Each chapter is written from one characters view and I liked this writing style. I felt it was a little slow to get going but once the action moved to Scotland the story picked up and the descriptions of the surroundings were gorgeous,

It ended quite abruptly - I felt it all wrapped up a bit quickly and I was left wanting more.

Thank you to #netgalley and the publisher for providing me with ARC in return for an honest review.

I read this story of a dysfunctional family coming together and learning new things, listening to each other, apologizing for past mistakes and realized just how many other readers will think the same. I connected with Gayle, the mom. I felt a little like her in how I was with my children but then I thought no, you're more like Samantha - looking after your sibling, being hard on yourself, always pushing. I want to go and stay in Kinleven but my finances wouldn't cover the journey to Scotland from Lincolnshire at the minute!

I really enjoyed Sarah's festive novel. Having said that, I was a little put off by a recurring error, which I assume will be sorted for publication day - just about any word featuring fl together became f l. eg floor became f loor. I've marked them but don't know how to share them..... If it wasn't for that it'd be 4*

Two sisters who had a hard childhood both reacted in different ways to the hard times they had, but through it all they found solace in each other. Samantha is the older sister and from her childhood has put all of her focus into her career as she books dream vacations that create unforgettable holiday experiences. She doesn't let any one close other than her sister and finds work success to be the true measure of her self worth. Ella is the younger sister and love and family are the most important thing to her. She has decided to be a stay at home mom and put her husband and child first and go in the most opposite direction from her childhood. Their mother has her own story and I don't want to spoil as those details come out in just the right way and illuminate how these girls have become the adults they have and one Christmas season will change everything.
