This book was wonderful. I just finished it and I can't explain why, because it is so subtle and gentle, but leaves such an impact. I'm so happy and grateful to have picked it up randomly. It's worth it for the beautiful writing alone.

Een heerlijke familieroman(?). Het thema van migratie en afstand is prachtig uitgewerkt. De verbinding tussen deel 1 en deel 2/3 is een beetje onlogisch, maar storend vond ik het niet.
