MAGNIFICENT

It is no secret that I love Ashley. I have been a huge fan of hers for quite some time and I had zero issues sliding into her DMs and forcing her to be my friend! ;) But when I tell you that she just keeps getting better and better, I mean it with my entire soul.

This book....the way that I was waiting for this book....literally on pins and needles. I dropped everything as soon as it hit my kindle and DEVOURED it. There are very few stories with the trope "Pregnant but the baby isn't his" but I freakin love it. And this one was absolutely perfect. The way that we get flashbacks from both Penny and Jamies' POV and how we learn of their history and love for each other. Ashley took "Right person, wrong time" and really ran with it. My heart hurt for them so many times. They fought HARD for their HEA and it was stunning to watch it unfold. I just love them so much.

And that ending....oooof....hanging on by the tippy tops of my fingernails!

So, if you need me, I'll just be lovingly remembering Jamie and Penny and impatiently waiting for Silas and Natty.

And to Ashley, bravo my friend. You absolutely crushed this.

The only word I have for this series is OBSESSED!

This might be my fav!!

Book Boyfriend

I really enjoyed this entry into the Stone Riders MC world! I've been anxiously awaiting this couple and it did not disappoint! Gritty, swoony, emotionally rich, and wonderfully addictive. I can not get enough of this epic series, the magical characters, and this wonderful world created by Ashley Munoz!

Faith Clark was pitch perfect casting, and I loved her narration of Faith Clark as Penelope. She captured both her fire as well as the beauty of her soul and her vulnerability. I like Nick Mondelli as a narrator in general, but his voice didn't really fit my perception of how I imagined Silas' voice- it was almost too soft for me- I expected a bit more gnarly, gritty. But I did enjoy his performance from an emotive standpoint.

I really ADORE this series, and the chemistry between these characters combined with their past make for such an emotionally rich and compelling story. Jameson's alpha protectiveness is ULTRA swoony- not to mention sexy AF. And I loved how he pursued Penelope. I love the push pull between them, the flashbacks that give us deeper context for the layers of their dynamic, and there is definitely plenty of angst! Add in some MC danger and suspense - and this is a total page turner and so far my favorite in the series!

I love all of the MMCs in this series and Jameson was no exception.

All of these couples histories are so heart wrenching.

Ashley Munoz needs to fire her editor though.

Phenomenal-Every new book becomes my new favorite. Jamie and Penny was such a beautiful heartfelt story. I love how it goes back in time, dual timeline, but is done in such a way that you are completely hooked from the beginning. I felt that they needed the right time to be together, but the circumstances and everything happening around them never allowed it. Losing the love of your life to your supposedly best friend hurts, but when you are the president of an MC, you push through. But then, you are forced to help her pick up the pieces your friend left behind, including his baby. When you are Jameson, the King of Chaos, there’s no doubt you make it happen, and what roller coaster that was. I can’t tell you enough how good this book was. Amazing series. I’m anxiously waiting for Silas and Natty’s story. Be warned, you won’t be able to put it down. That ending, was epic!

♾️⭐️
challenging dark emotional tense medium-paced

Penelope suddenly finds herself pregnant and in enemy territory, ironically, to protect her from the father of her child. Unfortunately the person in charge of her protection is someone she's been trying to distance herself from - Jameson King. In order to keep her safe, Jameson proposes marriage. Although their actions feel real, Penelope knows this will all soon come to an end. Jameson will always protect her but as history has shown, once the danger is gone he will walk away.

This is definitely my favorite book in the series so far. The chemistry between Penelope and Jameson was great and the overall storyline worked well. The miscommunication trope drives me insane but it wasn't too offensive in this story. As with the other books, this story set up for the next couple and I'm hoping their story is just as good.

DID NOT FINISH

I've been attempting to read this since it's release, and I'm only at 27%. I normally finish a book in 2 days. Hate to throw in the towel, and maybe I'll come back to it...
