“My favourite part of the book is when Ramona got her shoe back.” - Asher (age six)

(Review by my six year old) I loved this book. I hope I can write a book like this one day. I think one day Ramona will someday be like Beezus and her friends. I like to be brave like Ramona.

We listened to the audiobook, read by Stockard Channing, and she did a fantastic job. Great book, and really enjoyable to listen to.

My 8-year-old son and I have been visiting some of my childhood favorites. I see so much of little me in Ramona that I know why I loved her so. These books hold up incredibly well!

The continuing adventures of Ramona Quimby, entering first grade and getting her own room.

Ramona is still herself--in 1st grade in the first book, written in 1975, and in 4th grade in the latter, written in 1999. Ramona has her adventures and struggles to find her place in her family and in school.

I feel like Ramona really comes into her own in this book. Guts! The new bedroom. A more complex understanding of her own family. The slipper. It's delightful to read aloud, and Ben howled with laughter when we got to the bad word, so it's spot on for 2nd/3rd grade humor.
