Damn cliff hangers!!! D: Naw I like Noah... I hope he's not dead! D:
It's more a 3.5!
I enjoyed this sequel but overall I only tought it was an okay read. I have read Dead Beautiful almost two years ago and probably it will be better if I picked up the sequel right after. Yeah, it was okay, nothing more, but well written and enjoyable ;D. Maybe I will read the final book in the trilogy, but right now I'm not interest in reading it.

I do like these books but I do find them a bit slow, been the same with both, the thing is I must like the story enough or I'd give up, they pick up towards the end and I do understand about building up to something, but seriously not this slowly !!! I do like the books , characters and story but I think the slowness hinders and does affect the enjoyment , if these picked up pace I'd prob be raving about them, so really it's a 3.5 but felt to give a three is too mean !
Better than its predecessor, but damn,

I was an absolute fan of the first book in this series and I can’t say I am disappointed in this book, well maybe a small bit.
Where the hell was Dante during this book?
Yeah I get it, he’s being “hunted” but I am incredibly disappointed!!!
He was barely in this book and when he was I was desperately wanting more. I didn’t like how he was keeping secrets from Renée. Yes I get it for her own safety but clearly no one seemed to be looking for him.
We follow Renée as she starts yet another school but this time training to be a Monitor. I liked these part of the books. I love learning more and more about Monitors, what it means and what it takes to be a monitor. It was interesting and was interesting to learn that you can be a “type” of Monitor.
You give us new characters and leave us with yet another cliff hanger. What the hell? Is Noah okay?
It was a good sequel but it just left me with more and more questions that I just need answering.
I feel like this book was very fast paced and it just felt like a filler but by no means does that mean it wasn’t good. It was, maybe just maybe it might have been even better then the first one.

If you enjoyed the first book, you'll definitely enjoy this one. It took a bit to get going but oh my God it was thrilling. All I can say is: NOAH! And DANTE! Why would you end it like this? Ahhh.
I am still really into the concept this series presents.
Rather than it being vampires, it a different form of being Undead.
It's really interesting, and I need to get my hands on the third book now :)
