3.5 Would have given it a 4 but because I am such an empath and the anger that Noel and Amber had towards each other would affect me personally. Someone please tell me how to stop this so I don't take it out my "anger" on my husband

This series was seriously so cute. I loved every moment of listening to these three novels, Codi Hall knocked it out of the park with the Winters family. Nick and Noel are childhood friends and friends to lovers as adults with a dash of fake dating. They're funny and relatable and not super polished, they feel like people you could actually be friends with. Definitely looking forward to making these a yearly tradition.

Super cute friends to lovers romance with a holidays theme. Funny, sentimental, with a little drama thrown in. Loved it!

Nick and Noel are childhood best friends, finally reunited now that Nick has returned from his military career. When they both find themselves seeking revenge on their exes, they start fake dating. But as time goes on, those feelings quickly become real.

The good: I like a good friends-to-lovers story, and I thought Nick & Noel were cute together. It was also written with a dual POV, which I always enjoy. I like hearing both characters’ thoughts!

The bad: All of the characters in this book were incredibly immature. If the author hadn’t stated their ages, I would have assumed they were right out of high school, not nearing 30! Noel spent almost the entire book whining about and fighting with Amber - that got old REALLY fast. I almost considered quitting this book because I was so irritated with that whole plotline.

I read the second book in this series first and really enjoyed it. I was hoping to love this one too, but the characters’ immaturity and the pitting of Noel and Amber against each other was too much for me to move past.
