If all the sex scenes in this book, plus all the times the main characters thought about sex were removed, all that is left is a barebones story about a barista with a history of abuse and a persistent customer who fall in love.

This story would have been far more interesting with some insight into Eran’s background that would help shed some light on why he would choose to live with his sister and her violent boyfriend after enduring abuse from their father. I would have also liked some time spent on Eran’s healing within and outside his relationship with Paul.

The writing was competent, but the story lacked substance and I found myself skimming through sex scenes that were excessive, drawn out and repetitive.

Overall, a disappointment.
