Good, but there were some flaws that kept it from being great (for me). The ending seemed abrupt and the easy way out. I wanted to know how the characters would go on and deal with all they had learned about each other. Also, the initial casualness of the way the main character burned the "uncle." It seemed she did so based on 2nd hand conversations and could have well been wrong in her assessment of the person. It seemed way to casual of a murder/torture for someone who is portrayed as so (mostly) likable, even perfect in many ways (intelligent, strong etc). I can't put it to words, but the whole 2nd half of the book just seemed a bit too loosely put together somehow.
I read this right after reading Sadie by Courtney Summers and felt that was a stronger book with similar themes.

3.5 Stars.
This is an intense book that tackles rape culture and the consequences of sexual violence on those around it. Although I didn't give the highest rating just based on my enjoyment, it doesn't take away from my understanding of the importance of books like this and that it is a story that will stick with me.
The writing was very good and the characters were interesting and distinct from one another which is important in a novel that is read from three perspectives.
I finished this book with a lot to think about. If you can handle this heavy subject I would really recommend giving it a read.

It’s a hard book to put down.
That being said, it ended in a rush. Things just got weaker as the story moved along. I have to say the ending does fit the narrative, but the execution was quite a flop. Surely something that started as sharp as "This is how I kill someone." shouldn't have ended this way?
A quick look at the synopsis says this is "A contemporary YA novel that examines rape culture through alternating perspectives." Yeah, I don’t know about that. What I just read seems like an awful attempt at squeezing it in, never going too far to explore and address the issues. Messages got lost and muddled with your conveniently shoehorned YA clichés.
I have a lot more to say (or rant about), but I can accept that it at least had good intentions.

« I wouldn’t have done it, » he says. « To you that night, or to that girl now. You gotta know that. »
And I think, yeah, he would’ve rapped me, and her too, because who wants to be crushed when you can do the crushing ?
This book needs to be out there and needs to be read.
This book deals with rape culture and how this atrocious act is too easily forgiven and forgotten.
Must read.

Super adictivo, la historia no era lo que esperaba pero la disfrute, aún así no se si el final me termina de convencer... pero lo recomendaría!
