The Warning by James Patterson

This book was very interesting in the sense that it reminded me of today's day and age. For example, the characters and the whole town are in lockdown...very familiar ahahaha.

It was boring at times due to the repetitive nature and the predictability. Like it got to the point where scenes were constantly being repeated and were only slightly different. However, the first part of the book I'd say is one of the most interesting parts, because you get to know the protagonists/antagonists and the problem.

Another thing that I enjoyed about this book is how good this author is at describing things. Tbh, I think that saved the plot at times.

A mix of the done, cujo, and AI walking dead.
Not Patterson's best, but it was ok.

2 1/2 stars. Decent book but predictable. Not sure if it’s labeled as YA but that’s what it felt like to me.

It started out interesting and sucked me right in, but the heart of the story wasn’t developed nearly enough. The book left the reader with so many unanswered questions and wrapped up way too neatly. Meh. Read it if you want to zone out for awhile and are having a hard time concentrating on deeper books. Also, it was not categorized as so, but I would put this under YA.

Found this book to be a bit over the top. It was cheesy and completely unbelievable with a very rushed anticlimactic ending. The book started of interesting and made me feel hopeful for a good read, sadly it quickly went down hill.

This was different from any other James Patterson book I’ve ever read. It does have a mystery but it’s woven in a different way. It took me a while to get totally into this....but then I wanted to see how it would be resolved. I gave it 3 stars because it wasn’t all bad but it wasn’t the best either. If you like government conspiracies though....this is right up your alley!

Honestly...Maggie was pretty insufferable. She had so much potential and ended up being fairly useless and whiney the entire book.
