A cute story to use if students are going to an art museum as a field trip. Also great to teach or reinforce art elements along with famous artwork.

"When I see a work of art, something happens in my heart. I cannot stifle my reaction. My body just goes into action."
A little girl tours a museum and is inspired by all of the works of art lining the halls. This would be great to read just before a trip to a museum.

I really liked this book, a girl going through an art museum and talking about how the art makes her feel. The story is told in verse and like the illustrations by the magnificent Peter H. Reynolds, just flow from page to page. I really wanted there to be information at the end about some of the replications (or as Reynolds says in his note, his "isn-ful" nods) of famous artwork so young readers associate the feelings the girl had with the real art.

"When I see a work of art, something happens in my heart." Wonderful story about visiting a museum and how the art makes you feel.

Beautiful rhyming scheme and simple imagery, but it wasn't for me. Many others would likely give this a 5/5 rating, I'm sure!
