DID NOT FINISH

I am giving this book a 1 star only because I DNF'ed. I can see that the writing is great and the world is very well done, but I was bored the whole time. The intensely American cultural ride of this book was boring to me. I am feeling no interest to pick it up.

Stephen King seems to have this meandering quality in his storytelling which I find hard to enjoy. I will certainly try his horror books to see if that works better for me.

A thrilling book about a high school English teacher going back in time to drop the Kennedy assassination. It was a masterful book that just turned into a really good book somewhere in those 200 superfluous pages. I found the ending simultaneously disappointing and satisfying, but this book was a real page turner that kept me engaged from beginning to end.

AWESOME!!! Its truly a MASTERPIECE

I really liked the first half. The ending too. Unfortunately, I found the part about Oswald's shadowing very boring. Everything else interested me more. Otherwise, it could have been a 5-star book.

Probably the fattest book I’ve ever read but I just could not put it down. This thing had a chokehold on me. Specifically the concept of the universe or time always working against you by nature. I would’ve finished this way sooner if I wasn’t traveling at the time.
