I liked this book, but didn't love it. The buildup to the revolution could have been about a quarter of the length given to it, as the machinations became rather tedious. Conceptually it is a fun read, with a plot line that is still fresh in 2017 despite the age of the book. Imagine the Spanish Civil War on the moon with the CNT-FAI running the show. As usual, Heinlein creates a fun sci-fi yarn that explores political and social ideas that make one think. Not nearly as good as Starship Troopers, but still worth the read. 3.5 stars.

Couldn’t get past the sexism and the bland tone, no matter how interesting the concept might be
