I liked the titular story and there are 2 others that really stuck in my mind. When you read too much of him, you definitely feel this is in parts more of the same but maybe you should not read too much of his in one go

I really enjoyed this one!
The art as always was beautiful, but all the story lines were also great.
I love each story for it's own reasons and I'm happy I picked up two of Junji Ito's books at once since enjoyed this one a lot more.
Some really grotesque scenes, great ideas, and believable characters.
Would recommend!

first time reading a junji ito story collection -- and i loved it!
the art was amazing as always; ito never fails to gross me out and give me the goosebumps. my favorite story would probably be the slug story, just because of how gross and outrageous it was. my least favorite story would probably be the bronze statue, because i found the premise boring and uninteresting (especially the ending). i wish the deep sea creature story was longer though!! i feel like it already had a good foundation for a horrifying story.
