Mostly new to me stories, which has been getting harder the more I dive into Junji Ito. The collection had a common tone that did flow nicely from one to the other, whereas I've seen some short story collections feeling like a bunch of great starter ideas that I wished had more explanation, since some hit like myth, others like science fiction, that just demands a Gyo type storyline that figures out where it all started. These stories felt like they had true endings, weird shit just happens here, kind of feel. And I would totally go diving into that kind of world again.

This book/manga reads like camp fire stories if they were actually spooky. Juvenile, with lots of body horror and not a ton of substance, but still a good yikes factor. With that said didn't really leave me feeling scared just a bit nauseous during some parts but that's still something.
