Come right in to Legends and Lattes! Learn what coffee is, have a tasty treat baked by the best baker in town, and settle in for a while. Who knows what friends you might make or interesting things you might see?

Delightfully peaceful without ever being boring. Wonderfully full characters that will have you wishing for more time with them by the time the book is through.

This was such a cute and fun read. Thimble and Amity are my absolute favourite parts, not gonna lie. đź’š

This was very delightful and wholesome. Nothing especially mindblowing, but it definitely delivered on its promise of being warm, uplifting and cosy. The characters—Viv and Tandri especially—are very well-drawn and lovable, and all the descriptions of hot drinks and baked goods made me feel very hungry!

A very pleasant and enjoyable read. It's probably not something I'd wish to revisit over and over again, hence the docking of 1 and 1/4 stars, but I did like it and would recommend for anyone looking for a palette cleanser between longer, deeper, darker fantasy series.

I really enjoyed this! It had me laughing and crying whilst I was meant to be falling to sleep. Having the author narrate the audiobook just made it even better.

A wonderful introduction to cosy fantasy, this book explores Viv and her journey to set up a cafe with lots of fun characters (Thimble being a personal favourite) and lots of cosy descriptions. Wonderful escapism.

My one critique was the epilogue, I didn't think it was needed and if so, I think it could have focused on other characters; I wasn't very fussed about who it discusses and it jarred me out of the bubble of the ending. This is why it was not a 5 star read, but it was damn close as it is just so lovely.

Not necessarily a moving or intellectual read, but a good book to read/listen to when you want some small cosy joy in your life.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book about an Orc names Viv and her adventure away from adventure to become the owner of a coffee shop. It was a relaxing read and I am excited to see where the author takes the characters next. I would recommend this to anyone searching for lighthearted fantasy that’s a bit different.

The beginning was a bit hard for me to read through. Just something about it was making me put down the book again after reading just a couple of paragraphs. It might just be the fact that I’m still trying to get out of a reading slump, though.

But after the first few chapters, holy hell. I couldn’t stop reading. It didn’t even feel like reading. The story flows so smoothly, it’s immersive, cozy, relatable, heart-warming, and has its gut-wrenching bits. The author’s language was sometimes hard for me to follow as I am not a native English speaker, but it’s beautiful nonetheless. Also the book definitely made me go on trips to bakeries & cafes more often.

I loved this, it's so nice!
only took me two days to read and I was almost sad that it finished.
I really liked most of the characters.
