Perception and its influence on instant judgment of character form the theme here. While the story build is great for the recurring characters, I did not buy the who that dunit.
The abused wife finally kills the zealot husband, fair enough, but I do not see her spending her entire life protecting her kids from her husband just to kill herself and leave them orphans.
I would have liked to buy it, it was a neat ending, but it was awfully contrived.
