What a fantastic read!! Truly like nothing I’ve ever read before. I love the literary lore sprinkled throughout the book. I love the characters (except Felicity). I love that this originated from the infamous Mary Shelley. I did know who the true monster was 2/3 in, but I still wouldn’t have predicted the ending. The book was spell-binding, a page-turner impossible to put down!!

The thing the scares me the most is how little recognition this book is getting! The book takes so many twists and turns that it’s impossible to keep up. The best thing is that those twists in turns take you right back where you started (in a good way). It’s obvious that the author did their research before writing this book, and I’m talking about not only the horror references, but the accurate depictions of teenagers. Sometimes the writing is… questionably accurate and cringy… but for the most part I feel like these teenagers could actually exist (which I feel like is rare in YA). Their mannerisms, motives, and personalities are scarily close to real life. Read this book! :)
