A very short e-book in the Callahan Garrity series about an accidental death by eating a poisonous fruitcake. (fans of Bucky will love this one as he is still alive). Cute little story – I have two more books to read in the Callahan Garrity series and hate for them to end. Possibly Mary Kay can get Callahan and Mac to walk down the aisle! You cannot go wrong with any of the Mary Kay Andrews novels as she is full of laughs!

Kind of a lame ending but the fruitcake puns made it worth it. Callahan Garrity is also an enjoyable protagonist — I won’t say she’s one of my favorites but I do enjoy her quite a lot.

I don’t think I can rate this novella because it’s literally only 15 pages long. I’m going to be honest, I only read this to complete the spooky season kindle challenge 😂 Listen, it’s a 15 page short story. For what it was, I had a good time! I’ve certainly spent worse 15 minute of my time!

This is another novella about Callahan Garrity. Unfortunately, this one is a waste. One of Callahan's cleaning employees discovers a dead body while moonlighting and cleaning up after a Christmas party. Callahan believes the man died differently than the cop and coroner state and works to prove her hunch.
