I'm just so happy this books exists. I enjoy reading a good memoir, and I've been a Mythical Beast for a while now. If you're familiar with Rhett and Link, this is probably everything you'd hope and dream their autobiography to be. Their book is so charming and genuine, you can't help but embrace the warm fuzzies that go along with it. Thank you, Rhett and Link.
Since starting this book I have found myself thinking "what would be the mythical thing to do?" which I feel is exactly what you should walk away from this book asking. I was so interested in learning a bit more about Rhett and Link from their own words. This book was clearly very important to them and it shows in how the book was crafted.

Listened as audiobook read by the brilliant team that is Rhett and Link! A fun listen focused on getting as much mythicality out of your life.
I went in expecting it to be a hilarious, light-hearted read - and it was! But I wasn't expecting it to also actually be pretty insightful about the role of fun, self-identity, and gratitude in life. Not to mention that the spreads in the book are beautiful.
Highly recommend to any fans of Rhett and Link.

I loved this book! It clearly expresses Rhett & Link in a beautiful way... They show their true form in this book, more than they would in Good Mythical Morning, and it could really get the Mythical Beasts to learn more about them. I thought they were hilarious in this book, along with the creativity they put forth. 5/5 for me!
Let me start by saying I've been watching Good Mythical Morning for.. maybe two years before reading this book, so I was quite endeared by the two of them. I originally purchased this book for 3 reasons: the first was because it was a signed copy, the second because I wanted to know their secrets to building a strong friendship, and third because I was hoping that, somehow, their words could help me learn to better deal with my anxiety and depression.
I learned a lot about them that I didn't know and read some interesting experiences that they've had. There's actually a lot more stories than there are images, which kind of surprised me, but I'm not disappointed by that. I really enjoyed reading about their lives, and there were even a few interactive pages! For example, there was the LCT, or Laugh Compatibility Test, which I took with my mom and received a score of 3. There's also a Love Line Match Up, where you match quotes and lyrics to their respective speakers, along with a variety of other quirky things to experience!
I feel like this book got me thinking a lot about things. It spoke to me on a deep level and I feel like I've grown as a person just from reading it. I hope in the future I can apply some of their tips and tricks to help my own life be more mythical. You don't have to be a fan of their YouTube show, Good Mythical Morning, to read this book, though it does help. Even if you go into it knowing nothing about them, I bet you'll be a fan and want to check out their show afterward! They are both creative and inspiring individuals that have brought a whole new meaning to being mythical.
To that, I'm eternally grateful and will forever remain their fan, a true mythical beast.

I have been a fan of Good Mythical Morning for a few years now, so when Rhett and Link announced they were writing a book, I immediately added it to my wishlist. And even though I got it shortly after it was published, I only just got around to reading it now.
This is such a humorous and interesting look into two of the 40-year-old men I watch on the internet on a regular basis. They share such pertinent and relevant stories that have helped me to understand these gentlemen and their internetainment that much better. I really appreciated seeing their take on things and actually one of my new favorite quotes comes from their book - "Sometimes the most important part of the journey is just deciding to go"
Each chapter was just long enough to share good information, but just short enough to keep my attention, because there was a lot of text in some sections.
I also appreciated the chapter with the wifes (and yes I know plural of wife is wives, but if you read that chapter, you'll understand why it should be written as wifes).
All in all, a good read with some good laughs throughout.
