To say I love Rhett & Link is an understatement. I watch GMM every single day with my husband. We quote them, we buy their merch, and talk about them as if they're our close friends.

I have owned this book for quite some time, but I am just now getting to it. I loved the details on their friendship in the early days, as well as the dating section about their wives. I love their humor and this book was great. However it started to feel a little textbook-y and I struggled to finish it. Maybe it's because towards the end of the book was the more current Rhett and Link that everyone knows.

Overall I enjoyed this book but I don't think I'll be picking it up to reread anytime soon!

Ps-I could have personally done WITHOUT the 2 page spread about snakes

I am a pretty big fan of Rhett and Link so I went in with some pretty high expectations. They were exceeded. I won't say that every fan will have the same experience and enjoyment that I did, but I definitely think that they'll still enjoy it. I have a tendency to really like biographies and autobiographies from actors, musicians, and science personalities that I enjoy just because I love looking behind the scenes without feeling like a crazy stalker. This book was perfect for it. I won't brag it up or spoil anything more except to tell you that if you only read one story, read the one about Link breaking his pelvis. Also thank you too Christy and Jessie for sharing them daily and contributing. Honestly though, I'm betting you're glad they aren't in the garage and have their own studio now. Let them annoy their crew instead of you two daily.

First things first, who are Rhett and Link?

Okay, seriously, if you didn’t just fall down a rabbit hole and watch several more of their videos, I don’t know what to tell you. I’m so addicted to GMM, it’s the best. One of my best friends, Erin, originally started showing me them in college, and while I definitely thought they were funny, I would only ever watch it if she showed me. Once we graduated, I’d watched one here or there, but it wasn’t until a few months ago that I clicked on one in particular, who knows which one, and I lost, like, at least an hour, maybe two. I’ve watched a lot of GMM since then, and I’ve been making it part of my daily routine lately, so I figured it was high time I finally read this.

It was so funny! I’d definitely only recommend this if you’re a fan of GMM because a lot of it is inspired by a lot of what they do on the show. But maybe you just watched that video, and now you’re a fan, so now you’re ready to buy this book. There are tons of fun pictures of them, whether it’s behind the scenes or just being so incredibly dumb. There are a ton of stories that are told on GMM explained in more detail in the book. There are activities you can do with your best friend and some of the most hilarious full page spreads ever. This was just an all around fun read, and if you’re looking for a laugh that goes beyond GMMore, you’ve stumbled across it.

Just what I was hoping to get from this book! Hilarity, reality, inventionry. Great stories I'd never heard on their channel. Highly recommend if you're a mythical beast! Also, they narrate the book, which is perfect.

This book is definitely for Mythical Beasts or those who are already a fan of Rhett & Link. They tell stories of their childhood, adventures and mythicality in their lives. I enjoyed the chapter with their wifes, how they just want to make each other laugh, eating weird things and throwback thanks. It was well-designed and I loved the photos. If I wasn't a fan, I wouldn't really find this book enjoyable. The book is definitely them, made me smile and reminded me what it means to be my mythical best.

I legitimately watch these guys on YouTube almost every day of the week, so when I saw that our library had their book I figured I'd take a look at it. As I mentioned above, I didn't read every page but did read many of the sections word for word and skimmed the rest. I appreciated learning more about their friendship growing up, about their wives, and some of the general hilarity I appreciate them for. It's a big book though and definitely felt like more of a 'sits on the coffee table and small chunks are perused at leisure' type of book.
