This book is fully about espionage, spy, conspiracies, etc. I didn't enjoy it one bit, because:
1) I already know that Hastings is supposed to be Poirot's stupid Watson, but here, he was EXCEPTIONALLY stupid. EXCEPTIONAL. I just can't bear it.
2) The big mystery is about the big four. Who they are and how Poirot defeat them. In the journey to solving that, there were small mysteries that Poirot, Hastings, and Japp have to solve. And those mysteries, they're all ridiculous. Almost to Tintin's level of ridiculousness.
3) The continuous mention of "chinaman", a slur, and the antagonism of them really makes me uncomfortable.
4) I don't care about the big four or how this book will going to end. It's fiction! And I have a ton of books in my TBR! So I just stop.
