I’m sorry. I love BB Reid so it kills me not to finish, but I just hated everything I read.
I don’t like Atlas. I hate Rowdy. He’s giving me Keiran vibes and I wasn’t into that. The whole non-con just doesn’t sit well with me.

I had a really strong gut feeling so I looked up the TW’s and thank god I did, because this book actually has my hard limit. If you want to see them, check the authors website.

I do have to applaud BB for this book though as almost the entire “cast” was POC, so that was refreshing to see.

A waste of my time! The taboo plot twist of possible father daughter incest was disgusting, especially after the characters continued to mess around after finding out. I was pissed that this didn’t show up until 35 chapters in. The 16 year age gap (MMC 35, FMC 19) was also gross. It took this book from a potential 4 star read to 1.5 stars. SMH.

I love B.B. Reid's books. They are quite dark but this was probably the darkest one I have ever read from her. I did like it but there were some things that are hard limits for me in the book. I'm used to dark books but even I have things that make me say "NO!" basically, if dark books are not your jam, this may not be the one for you.
