Sooooooooooooooo this book was extremely toxic. Rowdy and Atlas were pretty interesting characters. The fact that he had almost 15 years on her was pretty strange, however, she did change him. I’m glad things worked out, but it wasn’t without struggle.

Whew… this book right here? I loved it. Easily one of the most well-written books I’ve read. The emotion, the pacing, the way the story unfolded chef’s kiss. When I first started reading, I had no clue where it was headed, and honestly, that made me love it even more. Now let me be real this book is not for everybody. That plot twist? I kinda peeped it early, but it was so taboo I kept telling myself, “Ain’t no way they doing that fr.” Then boom they did it. And I was just sitting there like, “Wow… y’all really went there.” The age gap is wild and the connection is way too close for comfort, but babyyy the way it was written?? I couldn’t put it down. Messy, uncomfortable, and still a 10/10 for me. If you like a book that makes you feel a lot and you’re not scared of a lil controversy, this one’s gonna stick with you.

the age gap between the FMC (19) & MMC (35) disturbed me so much, especially considering that's the same age gap between me and MY parents. 🤢 irl, Rowdy would have been called a predator by me LOUDLY & i would have been CHUNKING BRICKS.

but both rowdy & atlas acted like they were 19 years old. my favorite character is was golden since he was MUTE almost the whole time.

the amount of cognitive dissonance i felt reading this shit was so unreal. the inc-st trope is where she almost lost me & the ONLY reason she didn't was because i pre-read some reviews since i was 200+ pages deep before the pieces started to fall together.

PLEASE DO NOT SKIP THOSE TRIGGER WARNINGS CUS YOU WILL BE TRIGGERED IF YOU DO.

(spice was well-written & it makes me cringe to say that, lol)

This was 100 pages too long

I honestly feel like this book was everywhere and the storyline was absurd. I finished it because I wanted to know how their story ended, but overall I'm not impressed.
