Thank you to Hambright PR and the author for the advanced E-ARC of this title.
I loved the previous books in this series, but this one didn't hit the same way for me.

For the record, its's me, not the book. It has nothing to do with the story or the authors writing. It was more the tropes involved. I realized I don't love age gaps involving best friend's dad.

That being said if you do like sports romance, forbidden fruit, and age gap romance, you will love this book. Its a sexy, fun read making it a perfect palate cleanser

This was fun, just overall fun, I read book 1 earlier in the year and skipped books 2 and 3 in honesty, just to read this one. It's fast paced, a quick days read, and a fun dynamic. Not a lot of depth in the plot or characters, but a light-hearted fun time.

Oh my goodness I loved these two. Baby Girl and Daddy Wilson stole my heart. Their attraction was magnetic and their mutual love was palpable. They had one magical night together that continued onto more time. I loved how they communicated with each other and both knew their situation was a delicate one with their age gap as well as family that were involved.

I can't wait for Asher's book. We all know I love second chances.

Daddy Wilson didn’t want to just have a novella, he wanted his book to be a girthy novella but I think it was perfect for the story because I just couldn’t get enough. This was book 4 in the Boston Revs and after some teasing for Tom & Wren we finally get their story. Tom aka Daddy Wilson is the Rev’s head coach but he is also Avery’s dad and Wren is her best friend. When a very expensive painting leads to them spending time together, they finally give into the attraction that has been there for a long tme.

Daddy Wilson & Wren couldn’t be more opposite and have all the reasons in the world to stay apart but they have a connection like no other and it is impossible for them to stay away from each other. I like how they both brought something to the relationship. With all of their differences, they had so much of the same interests and I think that helped in making us believe their relationship, because it wasn’t just seggs & attraction, they had interests that nobody else could even relate to.

Tom & Wren really have to go through it. Their relationship isn’t well accepted once it comes to light and they have to really fight to be together. They might be hurting the people they love, but their love for each other will win out.
