I loved this book. Loved the concept. Loved the characters. Love. I love a full circle and threads that connect. Would highly recommend.

This is a charming book about second chances, with a dash of mystery and a sprinkling of a love story or two. I totally recommend it for a cozy read, especially if you like a little bit of magic.

A calm read, but too calm for me, nice for patient readers who don't like fast-paced stories or thrilling plotlines

A nice story with some beautifully written parts, but overall not a favorite for me.

This was recommended to me by a couple of people at work and they were right, I did love it. Laura has worked for a charming old gentleman Anthony for six years. He has a secret, after having lost something (and someone) precious to him he saves lost items in the hope they can eventually be reunited with their owners (like a real-life Bagpuss).
The book was set near my hometown and their song is one of my husband's favourites so I found it very easy to slip into the world it paints. Also, I have recently started finding lost things (before reading the book) and I have found two rings and a rubber triceratops so far!

DNF. Didn’t get very far. Sad. Skipped the short stories about the lest things. Don’t think I’ll go back to it. So many other wonderful books.

This was a cute story with a unique premise. It was an easy read with a feel-good ending.

The story was written with a bunch of little plots (about the lost objects) strewn in amongst the main storyline, which really added character to the book.
