4.5/5

The graphic novel brings the story to life in a way that the print book lacked. Save for a very weird printing error that caused Chapters 1 & 2 to repeat (did anyone else have that issue), this was great!

oh my god those baby dinosaurs were so stinking CUTE! :’)

Wow what an incredible read. I had no idea how much the graphic novels would entertain me. I got a new MacBook Air 15 inch and the first thing I did was download Kindle on it. I read this book and it was much better than I expected.
The tree house was huge! There were so many books in there. I honestly was so shocked with how fun the treehouse looked. Every time I read the books, I always assumed it was a baron tree house with like 10 books, but this tree house was packed! It seemed like such a cool spot. This book makes me want to work at a library. I remember I used to volunteer at a library back when I was 21 years old. That was such a quiet time in my life, I really enjoy the quiet. I would highly recommend getting this book and reading it. I think the world needs to appreciate graphic novels more, they take up so much time to read. Also the dog in this was so cute!

I received an eARC courtesy of Random House via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

This will certainly be a huge hit with fans of the series and I have high hopes that is also going to introduce a lot of new readers to the adventures of Jack and Annie. Vibrant, colorful illustrations for the win!

For Libraries: Let's face it, you are going to need to get this one.

Read this as part of schooling with second-grader. We both enjoyed it.

Cute illustrations! Added in a few things but otherwise exactly the same lines. Including the weird statement about pretending to eat grass when a dog charges a child.

I LOVE Mary Pope Osborne's books. As a kid, I read every single one I could possible land my hands on. As you can imagine, I was beyond excited when I saw that there were comic books being made from the beloved books I read in elementary.

The drawings were beautiful and they did a wonderful job bringing childhood me's imagined version of Jack and Annie to life. Of course, the story was fantastic and I cannot wait to read the next one. Overall, amazing book, lots of nostalgia.

Read for Graphic Novel Book Club.

Loved the graphic novel adaptation and how the story was told. Such a fun mystery adventure book for kids getting into reading. Looking forward to reading further graphic novel adaptations of Magic Treehouse.

Honestly I just really wanted an excuse to read Magic Tree House again for the first time in decades. I had fun.
