I have mixed feelings about this book. This is also my first by this author.
The book is interesting and insightful. The only thing that is dragging the rating down is the ending. I got no answers or closure. What happened between Shadi and Ali, did Shadi go to college, what about her family...nothing
I wish i got some answers since i was so invested in the story.
Overall, I think the book is worth a read

Why is this so shoort? I really liked it, but it could have been longer. The end felt too abrupt. I wanted to see more family content near the end, more of Shadi and Ali and for them to finally confront Zahra.

WOW....This book was beautifully done.
This book had beautiful writing and a very intense story. It had me feeling all the feelings and wanting to hug the MC. I will put some more thoughts in once my emotions aren't so high!
Just know that I highly recommend this book, especially if you need to shed a few tears.

This book was so sad. I really enjoyed it though but I do think it felt half written like it should of been 50-100 more pages??
