dnf. the beginning was good enough, but then a love triangle was introduced and i just couldn’t do it, especially when it became a primary plot point
emotional hopeful lighthearted reflective sad tense fast-paced

I devoured this book. I needed a palate cleanser after a deep emotional read I had just completed and this story did it for me. I loved the banter between the characters. Even though the book was slightly predictable there was a decent plot. I’m glad I read this book. I will read others by this author.

What a wonderful book! Loved every minute of it.

Gosh, it dragged. I wish I could enjoy it more.
Not all sports romance is Off-Campus level...

A well-written sports-related but mostly love/romance novel that kept a guy not typically into heavily romantic stories interested for nearly 300 pages.

I went into this book pretty blind, saw it as an available option on Libby and have liked books by this author in the past. This one didn’t disappoint. Much deeper than you would think based on the first few chapters.

The mmc was cocky and self assured in a humorous way. The banter with the fmc was great and I liked how she could hold her own. You could feel their chemistry on the page and I thought it evolved well, albeit a bit quickly, but not insta-love.

Okay use of side characters. I feel like a bit more involvement by the teammates would have given more insight to the mmc outside of his relationship with his pseudo-grandmother and the workers at the nursing home.

I actually thought the introduction of the 3rd characters pov was well done and unique. I wouldn’t say it’s other woman drama because the mmc never gave her any signals, more so just adding to the backstory of the mmc.

I really enjoyed this book. I would have given it 4 stars but I didn't like the added POV halfway through the book.

This book is about sportscaster Delilah Maddox and NFL quarterback Brody Easton. Brody is known for being a player, no pun intended
