Quick and easy read but predictable. Gotta love Kyle Craig who is a 10 star character.

Finally got caught up on the Alex Cross series. I really like most of James Patterson's work but Alex Cross is definitely my favorite. Can't wait for #18 to come out at the end of the year.

The Alex Cross stories just keep getting better and better. In the latest adventure, Alex finds himself facing his worst nightmare when Kyle Craig decides to make good on his promise and begins to threaten Alex’s family, teasing and taunting at every turn. You never know when he’s going to show up and how.

It doesn’t help when a couple high profile men are shot, starting a trail of calculated killings without any clues as to who the killers are. Alex not only has to worry about Kyle, but his pending nuptials and a new detective who wants to do everything different than the Alex Cross way.

This was a great book, couldn’t put it down, full of twists and turns and really up until the very last moment you never know what Patterson has up his sleeve. I’ve been enjoying this series a lot more lately and I can’t wait to see what he has planned next.

I’ve also been hearing about a new movie they are working on from one of the newer books so it should be interesting to see what comes of that.

Another good Patterson book. More than one plot line going,  but that just made it more intense . The lengths that the crazy bad guys will go to just tells you crazy they are.

For me, this one had too many stories wrapped into one which meant that none were as good as they should have been. Bringing back an old  character and overlaying that with two different crimes, one of which was solved by a pure fluke, created a story where the author didn't have (or take) the time to really delve deep into them. This was also reflected in the ending which felt forced and inauthentic.

I usually really like the Alex Cross books, but this one didn't hook me like the others did. In fact, the details are already fuzzy. It was about a pair of snipers who were acting as hit men on high powered business people and politicians.
