Slow Burn by A.K. MacBride is an enemies-to-lovers romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kelli Tager and Gregory Salinas. 

This is the second book in the Breathing Hearts series and can be read as a standalone. 

This is the third book of A.K.'s that I have read and its definitely won't be my last. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Adam and Maddie. 

I can't wait for the next book in the series Wild Fire to be released on October 28, 2021 so I can get Frankie's story. 

Kelli and Gregory did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you love enemies-to-lovers romance, contemporary romance or age gap romances.

Well this is a book! So so so so so so cheesy. I like cheese. I read romance. But this was just….. too much. There were sweet parts I guess. But way more parts I didn’t like. I didn’t HATE reading it. But because 3 is my average rating for a book I read an enjoyed, I just can’t give it that many stars lol
