I loved it, but tbf the first bridgerton book i read 😭 I’m excited for this season and UGH HYACINTH IS SO LIKABLE I LOVE HER!!! gareth is likable too but the RAKE TROPE NEEDS TO STOP!!!

wish they found the diamonds earlier so like there was no point of them being around each other so they realize…”woah i kinda like them” and then ya 🙄🙄🙄

also the freaky times were good…and I LOVED THE EPILOGUES.

This was such a surprise, I have fallen in love with Hyacinth. I adored her relationship with Gareth, their banter was funny without being cringy, and I love how they never lost it. I liked the bit of mystery and adventure we had here, and loved that we had lots of Lady D here. I love her relationship with Hyacinth so much! My only qualm is that I just hated the whole plot of

Gareth wanting to sleep with Hyacinth so she couldn’t back out of their wedding, that was just gross to me and forever casts a shadow over their first time

I loved seeing domestic Hyacinth and Gareth and the kids in the epilogues, and I love how Hyacinths personality hasn’t changed, nor has her and Gareth’s relationship well into their later life.
