I was not as involved in the story as the previous books and it might be due to the change of narrator for the audiobook.
I identify Jeff Harding as THE voice of Charlie Parker , and the new narrator makes me confuse protagonists.

DNF - Read to page 132
This is the third John Connolly Charlie Parker book I've read. 3 stars to each of the previous two books. By page 132 of The White Road, I still had no idea if this was a new investigation for Charlie, a continuation of the previous book, or something totally different. There were too many characters introduced and too many different storylines up to this point with really no action. Nothing to keep my interest. I really enjoy psychological thrillers with a touch of supernatural or paranormal thrown in, but this was a disappointment. I will not be reading any more by this author.

Yet again John Connolly has written a fantastic story. At times it felt a little over crowded with the different cases going on at the same time, but in the end that are brought to a good conclusion. I’m enjoying Parker’s, Rachel,s, Louis and Angel backstories being fleshed out. And Parker’s developing “sixth sense” is intriguing.
