I went into this thinking it was fiction. It wasn’t (Or at least not intended to be read as fiction). So maybe that influenced by opinion. Either way, for a book titled the Mothman Prophecies, we don’t get to see too much of our flying friend. Instead there’s a lot more references to coverall-wearing men described as “Oriental” (We’ll chalk that one up to the times) and “Negroid” (???).

Literary Quality: 6/10.

Spook Factor: 2/10.

Overall: 5/10.

lots of speculation. author talks about himself a lot. main focus is UFOs, with little mention of actual Mothman.  Lots of rambling and jumping around no coherent arguments for the basis of claims.

Inspirational for art, author is low key sexist (but from a different time so prolly not THAT sexist for his time)
