Overall this book was very enjoyable. An easy read with smiles provided, laughs included and a winding tale of long standing friendships included.
But i think I'm felling a little disinfranchised with the series at the moment. I'm wondering how well each of the books stands up on its own, if I discount the 20 odd years of background lore I bring into each new reading experience.
Did it feel a bit over familiar and reminiscent of the time the lads did their J1, or went to Israel, or got kidnapped in Africa? Very much so. But if you're like me, and one of those books mentioned happens to be your favourite of the entire series, then don't worry cause you'll have a ball with this.
