This was a fine, easy read. I enjoy Elin’s books as summer/beach reads. I read on her Instagram that she recommended readers pick up this book and one other before reading her final Nantucket book “Swan Song,” which will be published this summer. This book is in the bottom half of my rankings of her books I’ve read, but I approached it as a beach read, so I wasn’t horribly disappointed. The ending needed more punch and centering on a friend group of four different couples (with six different narration POVs) was a lot to keep track of.
