Will I read the rest of these books? Yes. Did I love this book? No. I cannot get past the main trope in this book. Just doesn’t sit right with my morals

Not her best work, the ending was good though. Redeemed some of the plotline I wasn't comfortable with. I'll check out the sequel still.

This book is not exceptionally well written, but it’s such a page turner. I wanted an easy to read, low-stakes novel that took me out of my world for a bit, and that’s exactly what I got.

4.5/5 stars! Really good for my first Colleen Hoover novel. I'm looking forward to reading Ugly Love most of all, however.

I always appreciate Hoover bringing something very unique and interesting to the table. Very likable characters in this one with unique circumstances.

I’m so torn with this book. On one hand, this book gives me the ick because I’m not one for cheating. Like let’s not romanticize it shall we?

But on the other hand, I absolutely love these characters! This series gives us a full view of this crazy, weird, wild friendship between Ridge, Sydney, Warren, Bridgette, and Maggie. Honestly if I had ONLY read this book, I probably would’ve been madder than I was at the entire foundation of Ridge and Sydney’s relationship. After reading the second book though, I do love how they handle conflicts and their friendship with Maggie and the others. They truly are just some lovable characters. I’m also a sucker for the musician side of this story.
