This book was incredibly intimidating to start with and one that I was a little scared would take me forever to finish. Sapolsky’s writing was intuitive and friendly enough that getting through the book was not a chore in the least. While I’ll likely forget about the specifics of the amygdala and what makes glucocorticoid levels rise and lower, the finer points of the book are something that I plan to implement in my own life for quite a while.

What a book

Sapolsky is god. He's a great writer. But he is an immortal lecturer. Youtube his Stanford classes and behold! Pure genius.

Been stuck on it for a while, hoping to come back to it eventually.
