It was a 5 when I finished, but I sat on this review for a day and now feel a 4.

Tons of praise for the whole book (if you're not educated about bees beforehand, you will be when done). Main complaints, can't stand when adult characters "giggle" and they do it sooooo much in this book. I meditate, and I felt the mediation stuff in here was a bit much, but honestly that's probably a me thing. Sometimes the character's flaws just rubbed me wrong, but that just made it real. That's mostly it. Oh, and it's overall mild, aka fade to black, in terms of lady time for the genre.

You should read this book.

Amazing

The second book I’ve read of Suzie Carr’s within the space of a week. I feel as though I know Jacky & Brooke like they were sitting in the room next to me. Carr has a beautiful way of portraying characters. Definitely one of those novels you just can’t set down - I was in awe start to finish.
