Het begin was echt zo ontzettend slecht en haastig geschreven dat zelfs een verhaal van Wattpad beter zou zijn. Maar daarna had het wel weer iets waardoor ik er helemaal in zat om daarna weer een draai te maken dat ik het vreselijk vond. Het liep niet lekker in elkaar over, snap wel waar de schrijfster heen wilde, maar ze vergat even hele plot lijnen.
Vervolgens lijken de mannelijke interesses nogal op de AliExpress versies van ACOTAR, want Callum krijg ik Tamlin vibes van en van Blake kreeg ik overduidelijk Rhysand vibes.
Het idee was leuk. Uitvoering niet echt.

Fmc is just a tiny, young, powerless virgin. A tiny young powerless virgin that goes on and on about how tiny and powerless she. If I counted how many times she thought it in the first three chapters I’d have more than the entirety of other books.
This books was the last straw. I’m done with romantasy for awhile. I hate the pure innocent young virgin trope with a passion. Especially when it’s rammed down the readers throat like this book. No complexity or finesse to the writing at all.
