So this is surprisingly my favorite book in Mistborn era 1. The "boring" one. I really don't see this one as boring. I can say it's a tad predictable and Zane does get the shaft in my opinion. But I love the characters and I love the mystery and even the politics were interesting. I really like Elend and his chapters. The end was just an insane rush. Lord Venture and everything was just a 10/10. I cannot stress how much I genuinely enjoyed this one. People throw the middle book syndrome towards this one. But I kind of disagree. There is a lot more happening in this compared to so many other book 2's I've read where it felt like we went nowhere. Actually enjoy this one a lot and sets up for the finale.
