This was closer to 3.5 stars for me but I’m rounding up because it was me not the book. I really liked the storyline but I wanted more of the main characters from the first two books.

one of the most genuinely sweet books i have ever read. i loved reading a little gay love story with a little drag thrown in that didn’t have kill ur gays or unsupportive families, it was just two boys navigating feelings and it was SO SWEET. it felt a lil cheesy at some points and sometimes i felt like julie murphy googled “gay stereotypes” or “songs done by drag queens” but overall good effort

Interesting and unique main character voice
Strong supporting characters including some adults
I really related to the annoyances from the gsa equivalent
I do feel like I have to think about the woman writes gay man aspect fo this
