This is quite good, it’s characterized through the view of the title character who is a small child so he doesn’t quite fully comprehend the severity of the things going on around him. It’s fascinating and kind of heartbreaking. I wonder where it will go in the other 6 volumes.

Didn’t like the sexualizing of women and the caricature of black people the writer decided on adding around the ending. An interesting idea blending humor with very traumatic experiences but lacks actual impact due to the fact that the author tries to “adult-ize” the children. Execution of the idea falls short due to the exploitation of minorities in my opinion. This is a very common theme within mangas of such genre, sadly. I will not be continuing this series, though I won’t judge others for doing otherwise.

Previous time I ranked this at three stars, but it is slowly sliding into more of a two. I dislike the way how the main character is drawn, I find it just annoying. The amount of misogyny is incredible, I wish I never had to deal with it. I will still continue, since I am trying to get through the series and see why are other people so interested in it.
