let me start by saying I read this months ago so my memory of it is a little shaky !
this was an enjoyable book . it has enough drama , sex , and an interesting storyline to keep my interest . the characters hoever were not likable . Madison ? I couldn't stand her ! for starters she cheats on her fiance so we never truly know whose baby she was carrying . she gets a terminal illness but refuses medical help ?? but she acts all surprised when the outcome with Granville turned out to be exactly what her home girl Loretta warned her about . Loretta was no angel either ? Granville was ... well he was .. crazy ! what kind of friend would set her friend up for that kind of mess ?! lol !! like I said it was enjoyable as far as the drama aspect ! I feel the author hit right on with the stalker man going after the woman he thinks is his because Granville was a nightmare !! Loretta and Madison's fiance being prayer buddies ?? ok ? the ending ? omg . the things women will do for money !!
overall I did like the book but I took away a star for the cliffhanger ending ! (i originally voted this 4 stars) . I turned the page after the ending thinking and hoping there was more . I was a little ticked . I hate cliffhangers ! if you like them then by all means this is the book for you !!

This book was definitely entertaining!! Full of explosive drama and left me speechless at the end !!! Like where is part 2? I need it now!
This all started as a childish bet between two friends that became explosive, possibly deadly. I'm speechless, I was not expecting this ending!

Kinda long and drawn out in some parts, but, overall, Morrison's "If I Can't Have You" is very well written and captivating. The novel held my attention from start to finish. If I had known it was the first in a series, I would not have read it but that's ok. I definitely feel like Morrison could have told the whole story in one book. But what do I know? I have to get my hands on part 2.

I REALLY enjoyed this book but some of the characters annoyed me. I liked how the author was detail oriented and you got so much about each of the characters' lives. I would have hoped for a different ending --- not necessarily a better one, --- but who doesn't? I recommend this book to others. I think they would highly enjoy it.
