All the feels, I am truly enjoying these, and every time I think that I want to start the whole series from book 1. But that is 19 books ago, yikes. But still, they always make me want to re-read (and well read those periods ones I have not read, 10 books ago.) And definitely listen because Angela Dawe is amazing.

Ok, so obvi this is book 5 of trinity, but before trinity there was 14 other books. Getting free from Silence, and after Silence. The psychic field that holds the Psy together is crumbling, and forces are tying to tear it all down. A lot going on, start from book 1, or start from book 15. The ride is worth it.

In this one Canto, an A psy is trying to bring As together because they are the Anchors that hold everything together. He meets Payal and awww, all the feels.

Canto is so not a child of silence. He was not like other Psy. Payal has all her shields up and is the perfect Psy robot.

Lost of talking, lots of falling, lots of trying to fix their world. Some bears, and some danger. The perfect book.

I did not want to stop listening.

Angela Dawe is amazing, she truly makes these for me. Paranormal romance is perfect for listening and she does it so well. Distinct voices and accents, the coldness of the Psy and the warmth of changelings.

I have mixed feelings about this one.

This wasn't my favourite book in terms of the primary characters, however, I loved how we started to get more development with the whole net collapses and such and we got to focus on the Anchors for the first time, which I loved to see! And we have a nonbinary character in the series now!

However, I still felt this was very much a filler book, the same feeling I've had for the last couple in this series, and I look forward to when we can return to more established areas once more and start seeing things really move forward again.

Overarching storyline is coming into place. There was less emphasis on the romance this time which I liked as the plot of greater changes picks up pace. Leaves us on a cliffhanger too. now to wait another year for the next one :(
I re-read this one in 2023, after realising I had absolutely no memory of plot, storyline or characters.
As a result I have down graded my rating.

This one was just okay. I'm really interested in the Scarab Queen plot though.
Trigger Warnings: graphic violence, physical & emotional child abuse‎, ableism & ableist language, murder, torture, and parental abandonment

You'd think after 20 books in the series you'd feel like it's the same old story, but that is simply not the case. This world is brought to life and the dangers feel so real. And the search for the one who makes you whole and the strongest version of yourself is always a good path to take.

Another book by Nalini Singh that enchanted me

What I particularly liked :
- the universe which is of a rare complexity and which explained that, even after more than fifteen books, I keep reading each book with a lot of pleasure =D
- the multiple plots with the Architect and his shenanigans of course (I can't wait to see what it will look like in the future !!) but also this time the Rao family (the so horrible brother !!) and of course the Psy-Net problem (I'm very curious to know how this story will end and what solution will be found ...)
- the old and new characters that we have seen (I absolutely want a story with the changeling Indian tigers !!) I loved having a new glimpse of the Mercant family which have always fascinated me and I hope we will see more and more characters from this family in the future !!
- romance ! Original already because we have a main character who is in a wheelchair (which is unfortunately too rare !!)! But also just because they were way too adorable together =) (I LOVED the first meeting with Ena Mercant =D) and I love the romances between an independent heroine and a grumpy hero <3

In short, even if this book is not my favorite in the series (because I found that it lacked a bit of dramas, especially at the end !), the universe of Psy-Changelings is still so addicting and I really can't wait to see what the future holds !!

PS: another little glimpse of Nikita and Anthony ... I NEED a book / a short story with them <3
