I’ve never been so curious to read think pieces after finishing a book. I’m wary of a man writing a crazed woman, so I’m gonna do some research and see if Williams intended for Stanley to be the villain and not Blanche. Blanche is obviously super messed up, but Stanley is clear headed and STILL vile. It’s unforgivable (just like Blanche said,
being intentionally cruel is the only truly unforgivable thing).

I haven’t read a play since high school so the format was a cool experience, the written style gave Gatsby vibes, and I love a tragedy. The forward written by Williams was inspiring as well, and that alone will get me to read more of his work.
