Read it for school.
Blanches rape made me cry hysterically during class
in addition to the
depressing resolution :(
But overall very good book to make me that emotional πŸ‘πŸ‘

I'm trying to parse my feelings on this one. I liked it a lot up until the last scene. It left a bad taste in my mouth at the end, even though I know that was a deliberate choice on Williams' part... Definitely check the content warnings if you want to read it. It didn't ruin it for me, but it definitely left me with a lot of conflicting feelings and a lot of things to think about.

The gradual development of the story was incredible. Most of the characters were assholes but surprisingly it was still enjoyable to read.
