I debated 4 vs 5 but going with 5. I don’t watch sports. I don’t follow tennis at all. Carrie Soto is not a particularly likeable character. I should not have devoured this in less than 24 hours, falling into the competitive thinking and waiting to see how each match would play out for both Carrie and Bowe. But I did. So, once again, TJR yanks me into her fictional world and keeps me there. For that, 5 stars.

Having a basic knowledge of tennis and Spanish did add at my appreciation of the book, but everyone should read this.
