Don't get confuse with the 'man'. This classic financial book is composed of a set of parables which dates back to the Babylonian civilization. George Clason's monetary lessons lies hidden through these ancient stories which is still applicable to the businessmen and investors of the modern economy.

His approach on illustrating a story in order to leave some lessons to its readers is truly effective. Like what was said in the foreword, it's intended to not be a direct Do-This or Do-That for it to be memorable or sticky. For me, it has that readability aspect where you can go back into it any time you want so that you could totally comprehend the stories given here.

While the learnings here are introspective, I think there is this one chapter about the walls of Babylon being safely secured against the enemy forces—where he didn't justly aligned it to the subject matter. Sure that might be an example of our financials being protected from the unexpected. But after all, it was just a poor association resulting from a vague resemblance. It felt like it was just a filler to the book.

Aside from that, it was a decent finance book. Provided here are simple reminders to follow, but very practical to those who wants a good start somewhere else in their business.

The book has some interesting insights and advice that can be applied to anyone's life but it kind of repeats itself after a while. Throughout the book, the author tells the same exact story 15 different ways.

This was an interesting short story and very insightful, something to make you think about and live a life with financial security in the authenticity or your beliefs and how they should also follow along and play a part in your money.
A part of what you make is yours to keep, how will you start?
