OK, I'll be honest. This was picked up originally in a 9 month hyperfixation on lesbian erotica. And When I go back and Reread, its from the point the main character is giving flu vaccines at the other camp and then on to the end. The writing for the climax is honestly the best part of the book. Your THERE with her. Its so vivid and immersing that I physically couldn't put it down and still think of that scene often.

One of the things I liked originally about the book was the fact that neither the protagonist or the main love interest are cheating. And at the time (2016/2017) It was incredibly difficult to find lesbian romance that didn't include a married and cheating bisexual woman, which I (as a bi woman) found insulting and sad.

The earlier bits are slow and I found the ending a little too easily tied up, though the sequel untied a few of those nice bows. Good (emotional) beach read!
