Easily one of my favorite books of all time. This would make it into the top five. I love it so much that I can't really speak eloquently about it, except to say that it's one of those rare books where, as the character triumphs, you feel stronger and better as well.

This is the book I turn to when my world starts to spin out of control, because looking through Deborah's eyes puts your life into perspective.

It might be a very good description about the mind of a mental patient, but it was just really hard for me to read. It bogged down in a lot of places. But it was very interesting to see what the mental wards were like at that time period.
